Parcel too big for collection at a pick up point

A seller Parcelled up a guitar and it was refused at the point of delivery by the Argos pick up location.
eBay responded by saying that parcels should be up to 90cm height. Argos responded by saying that they accept parcels up to 100cm in height and advised that the seller is clearly informed about acceptable parcel dimensions. The seller. Informed me that there is no advice given by eBay on parcel dimensions.
The seller is now asking me to pay again for parcel delivery.
Please advise if anyone has had similar.
Regards
N

eBay has announced the new dimensions on parcel sizes for their Click & Collect scheme,  it is in their Announcements link.

This is a difficult one if the seller has already paid for  the postage,  not sure now who needs to pay for the postage again to resend to your home address,  as it is the seller's responsiblity too,  to realise the sizes accepted in C & C,  but not sure if this can be enforced now.

Maybe  best to have the seller cancel the transaction,  refund your money,  and relist the item with postage to your home address.

Or to call eBay Customer Support when the lines open at 8 a.m. from the Help & Contact tab above.  Type into bar there something like...   Postage cost for the resending of an item.  Follow prompts to Call Us,  call early,  hopefully then Dublin will answer.
