Outbid by same amount but I bid first

I got outbid by the same amount. I have looked on here for some clarification on here and it said the person that put the bid in first should have won. That was me but I didn't win.
Can anyone explain why this was to me please?

You get outbid by the same amount because it goes up in increments.

Say you were the highest bidder at £50. 50p,  another bidder bids  £100,  they will win it for £60.  The increment of 50p.

People bid in the dying seconds of an auction,  last highest  bid  placed,  wins.

look at the date/time the bids were placed

your bid shows first in the list because you were outbid, the winning bid shows at the top
