Ordered two items for C+C. Given code for item 2 but handed item 1. Now code used and no item 1.

I purchased two items from e-Bay for Click and Collect at the local Argos store. Item 1 arrived at Argos on 16/07 but an FM code was not provided and the item was simply listed as "processing". Today I received an FM code to collect item 2. Upon collection, I was handed item 1. I used my e-Bay app to mark item 1 as collected.

 

I am now in the impossible position of being unable to raise any kind of dispute because item 2 is marked as collected (since the collection code was used), and item 1 was marked as received by myself. Each time I attempt to click on any kind of "not received" link, it takes me to a blank page that says I've collected or received the items. I seemingly have no way at all of contacting e-Bay and it appears that item 2 is going to sit on a shelf at Argos (who were incredibly unhelpful and simply shrugged at me) until it is either thrown away or taken home by someone else, since it already shows that it's been collected.

 

Trying to contact e-Bay has put me in an endless loop of "contact us" "what is your issue?" "contact us" "what is your issue" pages that never go anywhere. What am I even supposed to do?!!

You do need to contact eBay Customer Services,  as only they can provide the necessary code for you.
