Order cancellation

I seem to have an issue with a seller not wanting to cancel the order. I placed an order which was listed Free Postage, but in the description it had Collection Only. I missed that part, but noticed straight away after the order was placed,so I contacted the seller and apologised and explained. The seller answered rude saying that I am a waste of time person and didn't cancel the order. E-Bay's only support was an automated service and I don't know what to do, given that I have already contacted the seller three times. He didn't move a muscle, so canceling shouldn't be a problem, it's not like he posted the order or anything... What can I do?

I'm afraid nothing you can do,  the seller has 3 days to accept your cancellation request,  and it would seem here by their unnecessary rude response this is going to be unlikely.

You face a strike on your account as they can now cancel the order after 4 days stating Buyer Has Not Paid,  this then refunds any applicable selling fee they paid,  and they are able to relist.

One unpaid strike  on your account will not do you any harm,  but try not to get another as then you will find it difficult to buy from most sellers for a full 12 months.
