Old Address on my account

So I ordered some hair perm rollers then realised my old address was still on the account, I told the seller immediately as in on the same day as I initially order it that my old address was on it; I simply got a reply saying the order had already been dispatched like no sort of solution or nothing.

Is this fair ? Plus, I don't know what to do now since I have been trying to get through to Ebay about this issue but I can't seem to get through to anyone.

Yes it is fair

The seller has to send to the address they are given.

It is up to you to make sure your address is correct when you pay and to keep your details up to date.

If you know the address then you need to try and get the item from that address

If it shows Delivered then you would lose any dispute on ebay or paypal if you paid thyat way/

No point in contacting ebay as there is nothing they can do

Even though I should of checked the address bit I'm sure it is a common mistake so it is not fair to lose money or not get a friendly response from the seller .

What about the seller. They send to the address you have on your account. There is no guarantee they get the item back. It would not be fair to have to refund you your money for your mistake and lose their money and the goods
