Anyone know why ebay decided to allow non-payers? What happened to the old ebay policy, when you bid/win you enter a binding contract to pay for the item?
Now sellers are not able to open a case, it has suddenly caused many non payers. I had 4 items end over a week ago, all non-payers, and they have all also ignored my message enquiring if they still want the item.
All we can do now is cancel after someone wastes our time & doesn't pay! so annoying.
eBay have a new policy if buyers do not pay.
See here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/payment-policies/unpaid-item-policy?id=4271
Sellers don't need to open unpaid item cases any longer.
Instead, orders can be cancelled if a buyer hasn't paid within 4 calendar days.
You might want to add those buyers who do not pay, to your Blocked Bidders List.

You can also stop those bidders from contacting you.
