A scam you may be aware of, if not, I will explain...I purchased goods which did not arrive, I contacted the Seller and they sent me a Royal Mail Tracking Number. When I checked it, it showed as being delivered, but to a different delivery area than where I live. I contacted the Royal Mail Sorting Office to ask for the address it had been delivered to, but they woud not tell me as I was not the sender. I asked the Seller to contact Royal Mail, which they refused and kept quoting me the Tracking Number. I contacted eBay, but they were not interested so I lodged a claim for non-delivery with PayPal and they awarded the claim in my favour and refunded me. I have since learnt of a scam where the Seller prints off a eBay/Royal Mail Postage Label which shows a Tracking Number, but before they post the item they overprint another address but leave the Tracking Number. The goods arrive at the bogus address and for all intense and purposes the Tracking shows the goods as being delivered. So if ever you do not receive goods, but are given a Tracking Number, do as I did and trace the Sorting Office that delivered it.
Thank you for spending the time on this post
