No tracking details and buyer hasn't rated me - Payments on hold

Hello

Could someone answer my query, I recently sold some items, but just sent them via royal mail - no tracking details, some of the buyers haven't left feedback but I know they must have received the items as they would have made contact. Will my payments on hold be released with tracking details and no feedback?

Are you sure here is no 16 digit code on the post office receipt as you seem to send 2nd class Royal Mail

That receipt if the item is a packet not an envelope has the code which acts as tracked

You make sure it is on the item in your sold section and can check it either by clicking on or going to the RM site

If there is no tracking then you will just have to wait and even with tracking you may still have to wait

Once you get up and running you will get the money earlier

Thank you, it was all a bit confusing when I went into the village store to post.
I have all the payment receipts in the store and a certificate of posting with a list of addresses for the ebay buyers but no tracking or 16 digit code for each item posted.

They were all posted on the 24th June and some of the payments have been put on hold until 25th July (estimated).

They all have dispatched next to them but not completed with delivered.

There is no problem taking them to the shop and that is what I do but the receipt you get on a 1st and 2nd class packet should have a 16 digit code on the receipt. Your items look as if they are packets so should have had the code. If you got a long receipt with the addresses on are you sure there is no code?If they havent then next time you post an item you make sure you get it. My post office give it automatically and so should yours. Without out that you have no proof that the buyer has received it. and if you had a not received dispute then you would lose. Hopefully you will get your money soon but you may have to wait. Items do not get a Delivered on them. You have to check the tracking or code.

Feedback means nothing, TRACKING proving delivery is all that matters.  As you say you have no tracking then you will have to wait 21 days.

Anything larger than a Large Letter has tracking on the proof of postage and that should be entered when you mark as dispatched. In fact adding Tracking automatically marks as dispatched.
