No pick up of vehicle

I sold my vehicle for spares on 1 June. The buyer has not shown up twice and now i need to cancel sale to relist. However i can't relist as he has not confirmed cancellation. I chose wrong option and said that he wanted to cancel instead of me... now I'm in limbo. He has not responded to me or confirmed cancellation. No money has been exchanged as it was suppose to be cash on collection. I just want to cancel the sale and relist.

You can do a "non payer" case although there is a new process I believe [have a look in the "announcements"].  Selling a car for spares is more tricky these days as the buyer will need to arrange a trailer to get it away.  In the old days we might have towed it home on a rope!

Thanks for your help. The buyer is just ignoring me and won’t confirm cancellation. I did a last chance pick up email today but nothing. Am I allowed to relist without him confirming do you know?
Re pick up - It does have an MOT until October though (and is taxed) and does drive - just a bit tractor ish - needs lots of work.

FYI. You don't sell a car with tax, buyer has to tax it before driving on the road, you get any tax refund when informing DVLC of new owner.
