So, Ebay expect me to agree to a system that allows them to see the balance on my bank account....I don't think so. The only people in the UK who can request that are Revenue and Customs, so why Ebay think they have the right is beyond me.  Bye bye Ebay.

Not sure where you get Trustly from, ebay use Ayden.

I only had to supply bank sorting code & account number.

I am not sure where you got that one from

Ebay can not see your bank balance

They will put payments into your account when you sell

They will be able to charge you if you owe money but they will not see your account

You are giving them exactly the same information as on a cheque.

If you are at all worried then have a seperate card for ebay.

Easy to transfer you money between one card and another

Or as you say you done agree and wont be able to sell on ebay
