New payment arrangements

Hello,

Is there anyone like me that are already, unhappy with eBay's new payment arrangements?

Signed up last week, first item sold still waiting for money to arrive in my bank despite eBay being paid last week. I will not send item until I receive cash, was happy with PayPal instant system.

Its only eBay cashing in on the delaid payments interest, as if they don't get enough..

Thinking of removing all my items.

It is actually the Banks who hang onto your Money over the Weekend to glean some Interest. Selling on a Monday, for example, you would Receive your Payment by Wednesday/Thursday. Is important that you Post when EBay instruct you to. Otherwise you will Receive Late Defects and maybe Negative Feedback.

Thanks, looking at the general comments, I am thinking best to remove my bank details and look elsewhere to sell my unwanted items.

You have to post and if you dont you will get a not received dispute opened against you.

Ebay tells you the the buyer has paid and to post

It does take longer to get the money than paypal and many are not happy with it but if we want to sell then we have to use the ebay managed payments

Once you get used to it is it not so bad and does seem to work OK if slow

The time to go into your bank account was up to you to choose but it is Working days and it has been a weekend
