What is the current mood amongst sellers regarding the new ebay payment Policy which is being introduced, whereby using Paypal as an option is being removed and eBay appear to be taking the cut themselves as a way of increasing fees and profits? Not only does it calculate as being more expensive to the seller in many cases, particularly for lower value items, it is actually easier to use Paypal. I am also concerned that eBay are now asking for some very personal and private information such as dates of birth, which is completely un-necessary in order to set up your bank account. eBay should have consulted with sellers before initiating this new policy and it appears that this is not an option, but is being forced upon sellers regardless!
This is not a discussion thread but for members with problems
If you go to the top of the page and Discussion and put your post there.
It has been on the go for a while as businesses were enrolled on it first.
It is now being rolled out to private sellers
Many do not like it as paypal was instant and this is not as you have to wait a few days for ebay to put the money in your bank.
Ebay did announce it a good while ago but never consult with memembers about their policies
We take it or leave it and wont be able to sell.
It does not work out more expensive is is very slightly cheaper.
