New business seller selling digital Playstation game code for upcoming new game.

Hello All, 

I want to purchase a new digital PS5 game from a new seller who is selling digital codes.  The listing says it's for the full game and is NOT for a demo etc but is a pre-order ahead of release of the game and that the code will be activated once the game is released.  I'm concerned about whether this is genuine.  Is my purchase guaranteed by ebay money back guarantee in case the digital code doesn't work after  the game is released officially?  

I will pay by Paypal etc and follow the buying process.  

Any advice welcome.

IT WILL BE A SCAM

only buy digital content from official outlets as ebay don't cover digital content

For information ... Digital delivery of Games membership, Codes, Trades, Exchanges etc. is not allowed on eBay UK  ...

Physical delivery of items using tracked delivery is needed to defend Chargebacks and claims of 'Not as described'/'Not received' cases.

Only in specified exceptional cases are Digitally delivered items allowed ... see the policy >

Thank you for the reply. I will steer clear then. Seems a bit stacked in favour of a scammer if this is the case insofar as eBay won't help a buyer but a seller can advertise and expect to get away with it. Hmm. Anyway, thank you again.
