A significant number of sellers have the new Xbox Series X for sale - most that I have seen have phrases like "Confirmed Order" or "Pre Order Confirmed" in their headings.
Yet scolling down to the description, all they have done is Pre-order themselves (i.e. from GAME), add on £250 or so, and list it on eBay.
Apart from their abhorrent behaviour, scooping up large quantities of stock available to pre-order; they can't guarantee they actually have it to deliver in time for Xmas!
Distribution delays at shipping ports, or a dump of snow, could easily mean they don't receive it themselves before Xmas and will leave too many (already stressed families) even more stressed.
As for buying them at RRP and looking to profit (this year particularly) is just disgusting!
The profit on these consoles should be made by legitimate trade retailers, who have worked so hard to keep staff safe and employed this year. (Also resulting in their shops/online stores being more likely to keep trading next year for the enjoyment of everyone).
Look at seller Dropbsbyh eBay item number:254790683893 for one of many exmaples.
Please help to report these listings and have them removed.
EBay do have a Strict "Presale Policy" enter into Help and Contact at the top of the Page. Items have to be Delivered within 30 days.
The Seller You highlighted is an Unregistered Business Seller. Trading illegally on a Private Account. His estimated Delivery date is the 7th of January. Agree likely not to happen. He is breaking the Law by Not Offering a 30 day Returns Policy. Which Business Sellers are required to do.
I have Reported his Listing.
