Negative Feedback

Can anyone explain to me how a company selling on ebay with over 7,000 negative feedback comments for the last 12 months...can continue trading??

It's all in the numbers.

7.000 is a small number if they are a powerseller with over, say, 100,000 feedbacks.

It's where the feedback system falls down a bit as an occasional seller can be penalised for getting just 1 negative whereas a big business, no matter how dodgy, can get away with much worse merely as they sell a lot more.

Yes...i see what u mean. But still 7,000 fed up customers...not great is it. 😃

Which is worse...... a seller with 190000 positive & 7000 negative
OR
A seller with 100 positive & 4 negative ??

Also negative feedback do not cause account defects....they reflect a buyers feelings about a transaction.....defects are only caused where the seller does not resolve the problem before eBay step in

If its a very high volume seller then the negatives will likely be in proportion to the volume of sales
