Negative Feed back - YES or NO

Morning All.

I have left negative feed back for a seller after travelling 160 e/w to look at a van i placed a bid on.

Van was described as in good condition.

When i turned up i quickly viewed the van before meeting the seller to give it the once over , i then returned later to find the van had been moved for what i could tell was no reason .

Upon looking again i could see a large oil patcth underneath where the van had been parked

When i pointed this out to the seller , he tried to say that it wasnt from the van , i showed him the underneath of the van and there was oil everywhere , this leak had been around for a while

i had a look around the rest of the van , it was a tip, no attempt had been made to prepare it for viewing sale , doors didnt open with the keys sliding doors where clogged with dirty , it goes on and on .

Question is , am i right in leaving negative feedback ?

Seller is emailing me every couple of days asking me to remove it as he is setting up an online store and doesnt want negative feedback.

I feel you guys have the right to know ...you can then make up your own mind and not waste time and money like i did

Yes, you were fully entitled to leave negative feedback - but what a pity that it's the only feedback you've left in your three years membership! Feedback isn't just to complain, so do please think about acknowledging good sellers by leaving them positive feedback.

Be aware that this seller may now open an unaid item case, to get their selling fees returned. If you don't pay for the van, this will also entitle them to have the neg removed. You would be able to appeal the unpaid item strike to eBay customer support.
