Nectar card wont link

Hi 

I am a long time UK ebay user and long time Nectar card user, when I follow instructions to link the two to earn nectar points I get the error that my ebay account needs to be a UK account- it is! I contacted Nectar and they said the issue is with Ebay, I contacted ebayand they said issue is with nectar - please advise.

Nectar require a UK registered and based resident address ...Your Based Location is a UK Address, but your Country of original  Registration remains in the USA site and the issue will continue ( All accounts were registered there until 2001/2)  =

Easiest way to change Country of registration and transfer the account from the USA to the UK site is to contact the UK Customer Services (when possible) and ask that they do so whilst you are on the phone ... the given UK link often fails to make the change ... for information >

All accounts were registered there until UK site opened in ? 2000/1 ?. ... currently, you are still USA registered.
