Is it possible to change the name on my wifes ebay account?

My wife is no longer cognative due to alzheimers, it would be easier to replace her name for mine on the account.

Accounts can't normally be transferred on eBay. They tend to be very inflexible, but in the circumstances you describe they might make an exception.
