Bought an item described as new. On receipt it was obviously used. I started a NAD return. The seller (private) messaged to say not a problem, send it back and I will refund. He gave me an address to send it back to (not the same one as I bought from).
However, I have not been sent a return label. Should I just wait? He may be hoping I will just return at my own expense. Should I contact him again pointing out that he must pay return, or just wait for the 8 days to go by and then 'ask ebay to step in'?
Also, although I can see the case details by going through Purchase History - Returns, nothing is showing in the resolution centre. It says No Open Cases. Surely it should be listed there? Or is that just for cases against sold items and not bought items?
Sorry, getting confused now! This is the first time I have had to return an item Not As Described.
You wait until you can ask eBay to step in - they'll issue one for you.
