My packages doesn't have my contact info so post office is not letting me know my packages arrived.

I've ordered a couple of items from eBay. How it would normally go is that the post offices contacted me either trough phone or through e-mail that my order has arrived. Then I go and take my package.

I started to have problems last month where my packages just didn't arrive. I contacted one of the sellers and I found out why I'm not receiving my items. The seller said it's really unusual to include phone numbers or e-mails on the package. I didn't know my item has actually arrived to the post office as they didn't notify me and the items just got returned. This was totally new to me, as the items I ordered previously had no such problems. I looked up my eBay settings how can I set it so the sellers would see that I'd like to include at least one of these contacts on the package. Unfortunately I haven't really found where can I change that setting. As far as I know the only thing I could do is messaging the seller directly that I'd like these contacts on my package.

Anyone had similar issues?

It is not uncommon now to see Emails and telephone numbers included in addresses, but many people would prefer this not to happen asit is giving away information that is best kept private.

I can only suggest that you incorporated a Telephone number within your address and back it up by asking sellers to copy the address as given.

Whether Ebay wouldd object to this I don't know, but youwould need to go to ACCOUNT inebay and edit personal details, for the DELIVERY ADDRESS, there are in fact 5 boxes for address, all for different purposes.

You are in Estonia, here in UK our postal service does not operate like yours.

Most sellers would not include email or phone number in address, so unless you make it clear to sellers that these details need to be included, you will keep having same problem.

In fact in UK we would complain if contact info was on address label.
