My Email & Ebay account has been hacked

As I can't sign in to either my email or Ebay accounts it's impossible to reset my password, as authorisation is reliant upon receiving a reset code via email !! How can I contact Ebay (in the UK) to have my account frozen and register a new email address and password.

Yes,  you do need to contact eBay Customer Services,  asap,  and report your findings.  Their lines open in about and hour and a half.

Change passwords on all accounts you own,  especially your email account,  and good idea to inform your bank and Paypal about this breach,  too.

Sound advise but very difficult when you can't access the email account as very few give the option of alternative source for verification

You need to contact eBay Customer Services they have full access to your account which was hacked, and will take appropriate action, that is they will freeze your account, usually for 7 days to investigate.
