I've tried to request ebay for help on an item that didn't arrive, the seller dissappeared and my item didn't come. Frankly, I believe I have been scammed and ebay has done nothing to help and the articles available online didn't help since it always required for the seller to respond to my request.
If you Paid through PayPal you have 180 days Buyer Protection. Log in and find Resolve a problem down the left hand side. Open a Case for Item Not Received. Add in the Notes that Ebay have Removed the Seller. Escalate the Case after 2 days but before 20 days.
You open the not recieved dispute and if the seller does not respond then you escalate to ebay after a full 3 days
