Message from bidder asking is this stolen

I'm selling something "used"on eBay and a bidder has asked " how much this new from shop" I replied saying I didn't know, to which I received a reply asking " did I steal it or find on the street

i felt it was a horrid message just makes me feel uneasy and the bidder has put a bid on

Cancel his Bid and put him on your Blocked Bidders List.

Thank you - I did block him immediately but I think it takes a few hours for it to take effect, I’d hate to annoy him before he’s fully blocked!
