Mattress Return

Im returning a Mattress to the Seller, I started a returns and the seller has told me that the mattress is going to be picked up in a few days time. I then recieved an email to my private email address saying when it was going to be picked up, it sounds like its being picked up and going to a different company for inspection.

When ive been contacted by the seller its not been though the returns case that I opened its been done through messages. I dont really want to return it without it going through the returns as it was a lot of money. Any advice please?

I paid for the Mattress through Paypal on the 20th July received the mattress on 23th July. When we unpacked it they had sent us the wrong Mattress in the correct box. They except returns. I have made a mistake saying it is going to be inspected what i should of said is that its going to checked and that company will give the seller the "heads up" to refund me. What I dont like is that replys are not though ebay returns and that ive been emailed.

Unfortunately you have omitted the key facts that we most need to know. Exact dates er so important on eBay. When and how did you pay, when was the mattress delivered and what is the reason for returning it?

If it was a change of mind return, what was the seller's returns policy in the listing? If they're a UK business seller they will be required to accept returns.

The fact that the seller is sending it "for inspection" suggests that it may have been faulty. If so, you should have used eBay's money back guarantee, if within the time limit, not a return request.
