Managed payments and postage

Just sold a item for £87.00 with postage (4.20) I paid to Royal Mail from PayPal before payout from eBay..

So total £91.20 paid by buyer

Just been paid £79.23 and have no idea how this is calculated as given I paid for postage I should have received cost of postage minus percentage off from eBay. Hope someone can spread some light?

Ebay fees on managed payments are 12.8% +30p on item plus postage

You paid the postage but you get the price of the goods plus the postage minus the fees in your bank

A bit late at night for me and working out but it seems about right

12.8% of £91.20 (£11.64) £79.56 030p

Thx Redwick1 for your answer. It’s the first thing I’ve sold under managed payments and being someone who doesn’t sell much it was a bit of a shock. But makes sense now.
