Hi everyone,

I am new here, i have been selling on ebay for 2 months  now. I am very happy doing this.

The only thing is, after all the fees and all the needs i am left with nearly nothing profit.

Could someone suggest how to make a profit in here to get round these fees?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thank you

Therese

Do a comparison of your items with other sellers, see how competitive you are.

You are wasting postage cost, all parcels under £20 sent by RM have 16 digit reference on, not tracked, but RM website will show when delivered, so no need to to use signed for service, items over £20 have to be signed for.

You are up against established sellers in a bust category, takes time to prove reliable.

It really isn't rocket science.

You work out what your fees will be and list items at a price that will make the sale worthwhile for you.

If your items sell well, you will make a profit. If they don't sell for the price you need to stay on top, you're doing something wrong.

The model railway items you're selling are super. They will always be in demand, so I'm sure it's just a matter of judging what to sell them for - and what to buy them for, too!

Good luck! Why not try asking for some tips on the business sellers board? This Q&A centre is more about trading questions.
