Hiya,
does anyone know how to talk to someone who has made an offer on one of your items ? It only seems as if the only way is if they message me first.
If you know a members ID then it is possible to message them, BUT it should not be necessary. If they have made a proper offer thenyou have 3 choices, ACCEPT, REJECT or Counter Offer. If sending a Counter Offer there is provision for a message explaining why you think it is worth more than the original offer.
Messages are monitored by ebay and if they detect anything not allowed such as contact details, you could be suspended.
Offers have to come through the listing, not messages, otherwise ebay will se it as off ebay deal & may suspend you both.
You have a Best offer option on your listings. So buyers make offers through that.
You will receive an email that an offer has been made, and further details to be found, to accept or decline the offer , will be found in your eBay Messages.
Top left of the page Messages >> Then go to From Members.
Preferable to use a desktop browser here, and not the limited app
