Making a counter claim

Would like advice on making a counter claim. Is there a point? Or do ebay just blindly accept buyers claims for return because I wasn't really consulted for my side of the sale. Spoken to customer service who recommended that I make a counter claim after 6 days of item being returned. Really feel I've been mugged with this one. Thanks angel.

If the buyer opened a not as described case then it is virtually impossible to win any appeal as the goods never passed through eBay's hands & the Money Back Guarantee is there to protect BUYERS not sellers

They mean appeal, there is no counter claim feature. You'll need to refund the buyer and then appeal.

Without knowing the circustances, it's difficult to comment.
