I when I signed into my ebay account today, there was a loyaly award competion being offered, you had to click on a present type box to be in with a chance of winning an IPhone 11 Pro and ear buds.
Can anyone please advise if this this is a legitimate ebay promotion or a scam, I do not want anyone to be conned out of their money or to find they had inadvertently signed up to a promotion they are going to be charged for and cannot cancel easily or get out of.
I am constantly having to remind older members of my family to not click on anything they are not sure of.
If this promotion is not sponsored promotion by ebay themselves then they should be made aware of it so they can stop it or take other actions to stop people being conned.
