Lots of sellers using a branded name and then saying in style of thought it wasn’t allowed on e bay

Today looking through items for sale  I can't get over the number of people who have items for sale under a well known branded name but then saying in the style of that name.

very confusing and I thought it wasn't allowed on e bay

It's known as "keyword spamming" It is not allowed and can be reported.  It probably needs more than 1 or 2 reports to get it taken donw

It isn't allowed. But not being allowed doesn't mean that people won't do it!

There is a link in every listing to report it - on the right, level with the descriptopn and postage and payment tabs.

Thank you for your reply, E bay need to look at it, There are lots on E bay at the moment and some from new sellers.

With over 1.3 billion listings on at any one time it is hard for eBay to police all the items themselves , so as other.s have recommended, there is a report function on every listing.
