Lost item refund.

I've posted a non tracked item and the buyer says it didn't arrive, if I refund the buyer do I get any money back for my 'lost' item?

The watch? You should have a reference number on the bottom of your proof of posting slip you can use this to check on Royal Mail site for delivery confirmation.

If you sent it 1st class without signature the most you can claim will be £20.

Anything sold over £50 should be sent Special Delivery to be covered for compensation.

And it's When I refund the buyer not if I refund the buyer

Only if the courier/Royal Mail give compensation when you put in a claim to them using your proof of posting.
