Listed item now damaged

Hi, I had listed a leather sofa and it currently has over 30 people watching and 3 people bidding. My husband was doing some final cleaning of the sofa with a leather colour cream which has made it a slightly different colour on 2 areas of the sofa. I need to show this so buyers can see what it looks like and decide if they want to buy it. What is the best way of doing this?, do I take it down and relist with the updated photographs and if I do this will I be charged for the change?.

I have had really good feedback because I am honest about what I am selling and I want to make sure this continues

You should be able to add photos using the Revise Your Item link, top left of the listing.   Then contact the highest bidder, tell them what's happened and offer to cancel their bid if necessary.  If they do want to cancel you'll obviously need to contact the next highest bidder.

If you end a listing early while there are bids you will be charged the equivalent of a final value fee and get a defect on your account.
