Left a message when purchased an item

When I won an item, I left a message in the message to seller box, I asked for it to be delivered to a different address,
It’s turned up at the wrong address and the seller is saying that they don’t receive that message until item says dispatched???

This can’t be correct can it? When does that message get sent? When I pay?

To be completely covered with eBay's protection,  the seller has to post onlly to the address you have registered in Paypal.

You need to adjust the address there asap,  for any future purchases.

For this one,  if it has gone to a previous addreess ,  you need to contact those owners to either keep it for you to collect,  of to forward it on to you.
