Late return

A customer bought a product in November but wants to return it after 8 weeks stating the item is faulty.
Where do I stand, do I have to accept the refund or not?

You are a Business Trading illegally on a Private Account which is just for Private Sellers to Sell their own 2nd Hand Items. HMRC will be contacting you. Go to Help and Contact at the top of the Page and Enter "Upgrade My Account.". 

As for the Returns Question. Buyers have 30 days to use the Ebay Money Back Guarantee. So they are out of time there. However they also have 180 days PayPal Protection and could open a Case there. If they do you will have to Deal with it.

Business, what are you talking about. How do you know the item wasn’t an unwanted gift and therefore ok to sell on?
