I bought an item last October and it has now stopped working, gone faulty. Is there a 12 month warranty by law for these internet type purchases? The seller has not responded to my messages what can I do?
EBay and PayPal's buyer protection schemes only cover the condition of items on delivery. They don't get involved in warranty claims.
Any responsibility now rests with your seller. If they're a UK business seller you can ask trading standards for advice.
Buying from unknown sellers on eBay isn't like the shops. Warranties are often worthless and many sellers don't want to know about problems.
