Item sold and no payment appears in Paypal Account

I sold an item on 2 May.  I haven't received funds in my Paypal account and the buyer says they have paid.  It shows as paid in their system - they have sent me snips.  I don't understand why it's not showing as paid in my account and the funds aren't in my paypal account.  It's for something that's around £22 so I am reluctant to send without payment.  The person who has brought has 0 feedback so I'm not sure if that's the issue.

Any advice would be gratefully received.  I've tried to contact e-bay but the link keeps timing out.

Has the buyer looked at the payment in their paypal account to see if the option to cancel is available? You are not a new seller so I would not expect there to be a problem with your email address, but if there was the buyer could cancel the payment.

You could try speaking to paypal so could possibly identify any problem at the seller's end.

Alternatively I suggest if there is no obvious explanation that you open an unpaid case, if you have been paid this would be impossible.

You have not sold anything really expensive so nothing that would be targetted.

Thank you so much for the reply. I asked the buyer to check with paypal as I've heard nothing. I've had some other sales i since and they have all worked ok. I wasn't sure if I could speak to paypal as it's not showing in my account. I am willing to try that so I will do that. I wondered if it's because they are "new" so payment is delayed.

Always Login directly into your PayPal account to check the transaction status and PP messages ie. Paid/Pending/Held/OK/Safe to send to address given there etc. ... you cannot expect buyers to wait until funds clear.

Thanks. I have had a couple of weeks break and all other payments for items have come in ok. I've looked in my paypal account and checked with Paypal and no incoming payments are outstanding. Would that apply to the buyers account as well so it would be stuck coming out of their account?

If the £22.00 is not showing anywhere in your PayPal account/messages, you haven't been paid !. ... check that YOUR email for payment on that item is correct > https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/home

Thanks for the tips. I've checked all those too and it's all as it should be. I've messaged the buyer as I think it's something their end, Thank you very much for all the advice.
