Item returned but no refund

Hi. I bought a watch that, upon arrival, was clearly broken with a key component missing. I contacted the seller but had no reposnse, and eBay asked me to return the item. I was told that I'd receive a refund when the item was delivered back to the seller.

The item was delivered backl to the seller but the case is still open. Not only am I down by the original cost of the watch, I also paid return postage. The help on the website is useless for this situation and I cannot contact a person to explain the situation. Can someone PLEASE help me contact eBay so i can get arefund?

Why did you buy the return postage

Fro an item that is not as described you open a dispute and the seller has to send a pre paid label for the return

If you returned it yourself then you have to make sure that the tracking or 16 digit code is on the case

The seller should refund within 2 days and if not then you escalate to ebay by going back to the dispute in the resolution centre at the bottom of the page and ebay will force the refund

Thanks. The item was delivered on Saturday. When you say 2 days, do you mean 2 business days? If so I'll wait until Weds to escalate.

I bought return postage but now know not to, this is the first item I've returned. I added the tracking number but ebay applied this to the original sale, not to the return, so it's showing as delivered (to me) but still in transit for the return).

The most important thing is that you put the tracking or code onto the item in the case. Have you done that as unless you do you would lose. The option only appears when it is time so you could check now. No it is 2 days

Just to make absolutely clear it is the Tracking or 16 digit code of the return that must be on the case.

Hi. Yes, the royal mail tracking number is on the case. It's still saying "when it's delivered you'll get a refund" but it IS showing as being delivered, so it's stalemate. Really need to talk to a person at ebay to resolve this.
