Item not received.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can advise. Buyer requested full refund due utem not received and tracking shows they tried to deliver, nobody was in, left something for you card, probably buyer didn't pick up from depot and now want a full refund. Just to add it was international tracked service,  for which I have paid around £10.  Now my item is out of stock and will be left £10  short if I issue full refund.  What should I do? Thanks in advance.  Best regards Anna

What should I do?

Attempted delivery isn't successful delivery, which is what eBay requires.

If the buyer opens a money back guarantee case you will have to refund them in full, including postage. Even if, as you suspect, the buyer simply refused to accept delivery, or to collect it.

Your best hope is that your parcel may eventually be returned to you. Once the buyer has been refunded, if they can still collect it eBay will give you no support if they keep both the refund and the item.

If the tracking does not show Delivered then you will have to refund in full

The buyer needs to open a dispute and you deal with it that way

If they do then you have no alternative to refund and if you dont ebay will force it and

you will be left with the fees and a defect on your account

If you put a return address on then it may come back to you eventually
