Item not paid for

Hi a buyer didn't pay for an item after many contact attempts. I then open and closed a case but it said id be charged the final value for the item? I am a little confused. Thanks

Did you open the correct dispute for Non payment?.

You open it after 2 days and close after another 4 full days

You get your fees back the non payer gets a strike and neither of you can leave feedback

If you just cancelled and in the wrong way without the buyers agreement then can be left with the fees

If you did the non payment correctly then you will still pay the fees on the original invoice but the refunded fees will be on your my ebay account and taken off the next available invoice or you can ask for it to be returned to paypal

Go to the Accounts tab on your My ebay page then Fees then credits and it should be there

If you opened and closed an unpaid item case correctly, and the buyer still didn't pay, you will still be charged a final value fee for the sale, but will receive a corresponding credit in your account.
