I ordered an item on ebay and it wasn't as described. It in fact is supposed to be an acid peel, but is just like water. It said try a test first, and it didn't work, now they won't refund my money because it's opened. The have also said they will report me for innapropriate feedback and I was accusing them of fraud. Can anyone advise me on what to do? The company is called ***
Did you look at the seller's feedback before buying? Virtually all the negative feedback they have is for the item you bought and it dates back more than six months.
Unfortunately you have fewer rights than you should have because they also appear to be an unregistered business seller. Don't worry about them reporting your feedback - I doubt if they want to draw attention to what they are doing. I hope you left appropriate star ratings because I'm surprised that their 'Item as described' star isn't lower than it appears.
You could try opening an 'item not as described case' in the Resolution Centre - that could force a refund and throw a spotlight on their account.
