Okay, so I bought a set of items on ebay from a Chinese business seller.
I paid more than the items worth to have them shipped expidited delivery and chose this seller and item specifically because the item looked exactly like the one currently on my bike. (The item was a fuel cap, seat lock and ignition set).
When the items arrived (quickly), inside the good packaging, the seat lock was broken (though it didn't affect the way it works, it's just not 100%) and most annoyingly the fuel cap was one that other sellers had pictures of which looks cheaper and tackier than the one pictured in the auction I bought from.
Aesthetics aside, the item fitted and worked, so on the bike it went, begrudgingly, as the option available to me was to return the items to china for a refund of the items only, which would leave me dramatically out of pocket.
The seller did say they would refund $3USD for the broken part.
This was 12 days ago, I'm still waiting, so I left negative feedback, as no agreement was met and I'm still reeling that the fuel cap looks cheap and tacky as opposed to the item pictured in the item.
Following the negative feedback I recieved a message from the seller asking me to remove the feedback and they'd refund me the money they had already agreed to refund.
Where do I stand on this?
I don't want to return the item as I spent more than the items are worth in shipping charges already getting them here, I want to keep them, as functionally they work, but they are decidedly not what I ordered.
What can I do?
