Item not arrived but tracking says its been delivered, what do I do?

My item was dispatched via Hermes.

I have received a notification saying it was delivered but I have not received it, and I got it delivered to a work address to guarantee somebody would be there when it was delivered.

I have contacted the seller and they aren't responding and when I try to open an ebay dispute for item not arrived it just keeps telling me the tracking says its been delivered and to contact the seller.

What do I do because I have contacted the seller and they are not responding and ebay just keep telling me to contact the seller?

I have checked the tracking and it just shows a blank picture, so I can't check to see where it was delivered.

I have asked all my work colleagues and no one has seen it, I have even checked the cctv footage to see if I could see where the driver had dropped it off but there was no sign of any delivery driver on the premesis at all.

I'm very sorry little you can do,  if tracking has shown delivery then that will close any case you can open for item not received.

Shame the seller is not responding as Hermes will usually only talk to the sender,  and not the recipient of the item,  as to where they left this parcel. 

Many items left outside a property are unfortunately easy pickings for passers by.
