Item lost in post can I claim back fres

Parcelink have confirmed a parcel I sent has been lost. I paid insurance but they won't cover ebay fees. Am I able to claim the selling fee back

If you use a company like Packlink it is a good idea to read their T & C FIRST. You will be lucky to get anything, but they will take your money.

Selling fee is recovered when you refund the buyer through a NOT RECEIVED CASE.

So long as you use the correct service, with Royal Mail, so long as the itemis not on thier prohibited list, the refund the value + the postage you have paid. (At least they did when I had to make a claim last year)

Your buyer needs to open a not received dispute and once they do then you refund in full through the dispute

When you do that you get your ebay fees back

All disputes are done that way and it does not harm your account

You wont get the paypal fees back

You claim off Parcelink? ( was it parcelink or Packlink ebays system)

Whoever you bought the postage off
