I bought an item which was marked as dispatched later the same day, the next time I checked (I think the day after) the item listing had been removed. I contacted eBay via live chat and was told it was due to a listing violation, but that didn’t mean that the seller was a fraud etc. The eBay representative told me that I should request a refund as I’d be covered under the eBay money back guarantee. He also said that as it’s been marked as dispatched I might still receive the item but will also get a refund. So I opened a case to request a refund. The seller has responded saying that the item should arrive in the next couple of days and to be a bit patient! Where shall I go from here? Do I reply to the seller and say that this is what I was advised? Thanks and sorry for the lengthy post!
