Can anyone help and advise on the following –
I have bought an item through ebay, when I received this it didn't match the description as listed by the buyer. I have tried to contact the buyer but haven't had a reply. I have also requested a refund but I don't know when I should send the item back. Although I have a photo to prove the item doesn't match the description, I'm reluctant to send this back to the seller in case they don't send a refund.
At what stage do I send an item back if the buyer doesn't accept returns?

you need to go to the Resolution Centre and open a not as described case,
no returns is for change of mind returns, if an item isn't as described the seller has to provide a prepaid returns label and refund in full once the item is returned,
once you have opened the case you can ask ebay to step in after 8 days if the seller doesn't send a label voluntarily,
do not return until after you receive a prepaid label.
