Item greyed out on eBay and not delivered.

I've purchased an item on here, received a confirmation email, payed via PayPal and been given an estimated delivery date.

That date was 7 days ago as of this post and the item is now non existent on eBay, the purchase order number is not valid and my money has been taken by PayPal.

Any chance this isn't a scam? Also, according to eBay, PayPal says I shouldn't open a case ... Can't figure that one out either

If it was removed by eaby then you contact them by phone and ask them to open a dispute

If ebay do not open the dispute

Open a not received dispute in paypal and escalate it as soon as you can but within 20 days

You may have to wait until after the latest estimated day of delivery

You have 180 days to open a dispute in paypal
