Item got delivered and left in front door by the main busy road , so never found my item

Hi,  

delivery driver left my parcel outside my front door , even I didn't request that . Never was contacted saying it's delivered. So I never received my item, seller don't want give me a refund for it as delivery company saying it's not rhey fault as well and telling me to contact police . Paid £65 not cheap item as well

Unfortunately this is one of the risks of buying through eBay. Anyone can sign for parcels, it doesn't have to be you. Some services don't even require a signature. Parcels may be left with neighbours, delivered to the wrong address or left in a "safe place" to be lost or stolen. "Porch piracy", or the theft of parcels from the doorstep is soaring.

EBay can't and doesn't attempt to investigate disputed deliveries. They require the seller to upload a valid tracking number that records successful delivery to your address. If it does, the seller has done all that eBay requires and you are not eligible for a refund under eBay's money back guarantee.
