Item delivered to buyer,when will case with ebay close?

There was a delay on an item that i posted out to the buyer so a case was opened with ebay, item has now been delivered and buyer has aknowledged delivery but ebay case still open? How long does it take for cases to close and for the money to be avavilble in my paypal account?

The case will stay open until either you enter that tracking number showing delivery into the case details.  Or,  the buyer closes the case from their end.
