Item damaged in post

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an item, paid £10 for parcelforce24 delivery. The item arrived later than estimated via Hermes and the package was left on my doorstep while I was out. It looks like it was dropped  as the box was ripped and crumpled & the item inside is damaged. The seller just keeps telling me they are waiting to hear back from the courier...this has been going on since the 11th May. I have tried to contact ebay about it but nowhere is there an option for items damaged in the post! Can anyone help me with what to do next? This item cost £75 inc postage so not cheap!

Open a return, more actions/arrived damaged.

Sellers aren't supposed to be waiting for the courier to decide, they should be sorting the issue out for you. If they still don't play ball escalate after 8 days, ebay will supply a returns label at sellers expense and force a refund.
