Hi I sold a propane heater on the 15th may 2021 the buyer collected in person & paid cash. On the 3rd of june he has advised me the item is not working and would like a refund. This is 19 days later, the buyer has also informed me they have taken the item into an appliance shop of which I have not been informed what has been done with the heater.

ebay have advised the buyer to contact me the (seller) to see what I want to do.

Any advice Appeciated

as they paid cash they have no come back through eBay or PayPal - so it's up to you what you want to do.

My dilemma is that it has taken 19 days to be told the item is faulty, and that they have taken the item into a shop, which could of been tampered with & left unsafe.
